A development primarily designed for residents 55 years of age and older requires a different approach and thought process regarding design than a traditional residential development. Accessibility becomes a prime focus when considering sidewalks, grade changes and drainage and retention requirements.

For those more experienced at life, the ideas pertaining to quality of life, also change. A comfortable, easy to maintain home is ideal. Morley’s priority for this project was to alleviate the stress and strain of growing older, and create an independent way of living in two bedroom row home units units, fully equipped with living areas, kitchens, laundry rooms and garages.

Gazebos and green areas were built into the property to create desirable views, while meeting the drainage and retention requirements on this property. Each aspect of this property was carefully curated with a specific audience in mind, maximizing the potential of the site to offer a desirable and convenient place to live.
